Lino Lopez Jr. took over the trucking company in 1967 and
Lopez Brothers Trucking Company was born. They continued hauling milo and corn from the grain elevators to the Port of Corpus Christi, Texas and Brownsville, Texas. They also hauled cotton seed from the cotton gin to the oil mills. They began hauling produce such as watermelons, onions, potatoes, and carrots from South Texas to different States. The business continued to grow after adding a line of gravel trailers to being hauling sand, gravel, and caliche from the surranding areas.
